A female Amur leopard has been caught on camera taking care of another female’s two cubs. This is the first such case in the history of the Amur leopard research, according to a press release from the “Land of the Leopard” National Park.

“During the first months of their lives, the cubs were observed in Russia with their biological mother, identified as Leo 158F; later, the family was spotted in China. Some time later, the same pair of cubs was seen again in Russia, but this time they were accompanied by another female — Leo 195F, nicknamed Tolstushka,” it said.
