🔻A pit about 9 meters deep has been created in front of a house that is said to belong to Nicolas Cage, the American actor.

Following days of heavy rainfall in Southern California, the driveway leading to the house in the seaside city of Malibu collapsed, creating the pit.

According to local residents, they had previously been informed that from Monday, September 7, a pit about 2.4 meters deep was forming; however, it did not worry them much because they thought it could be “fixed” easily. But then “everything got out of control, and in the early hours of Tuesday, more of the ground collapsed and a pit about 9 meters deep formed.” This subsidence also caused a gas leak, and emergency responders were able to contain it.

The incident occurred following the activities of the tropical storm “Maria,” and although the storm formed far from the coast, it brought rainfall and high waves to Southern California.
