Based on information received, Abbas Rasooli-far, a commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps with a track record of involvement in Syria, has been in charge of leading suppression forces in Shahr-e Yar County during the National Revolution.

Kamyar Behrang, a member of the editorial board of Iran International, referring to the fact that his selection was purposeful within the framework of transferring the experience of suppression from Syria to Iran, said that dividing urban areas into operational zones, using snipers and elevated points, creating killing zones, cutting off the internet and communications, and using vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns are among the patterns that previously forces affiliated with the Quds Force used in the war in Syria.
