Based on information received by Iran International, the Islamic Republic’s judiciary has filed a case and held a trial for Saehel Arabi due to his humanitarian assistance to the families of protesters and the wounded of the National Iranian Revolution.

This trial hearing was held in Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court. Eiman Afshari is the judge in this case, and the charge brought against this civil activist is described as “assembly and collusion.” The main basis for these allegations is the reports of the Tharallah Task Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, his activities on social media, and his financial and moral support for those detained in the protests in Dey (December).

The case opened against Arabi is because he helped families meet their needs, including medical treatment, education, and living expenses—families which, according to him, more than half of them did not even have a record of political activity or detention.
