After a drone entered Lithuania’s airspace from Belarus, two Italian Eurofighter aircraft deployed on a NATO mission took off on an emergency basis. The Italian Ministry of Defense announced that the drone was intercepted and neutralized in accordance with NATO operational procedures; Lithuanian officials also emphasized NATO’s vigilance and readiness.
