Al Jazeera, citing a U.S. official, described the Islamic Republic’s missile attacks during the early hours of Wednesday, 18 Shahrivar as ineffective.

Al Jazeera did not disclose the name of the official, but noted that a “barrage of ballistic missiles” fired by the Islamic Republic at American forces in Jordan caused no casualties.

The U.S. official emphasized that the missiles fired were ineffective against integrated air and missile defense systems.

Previously, Jordan had announced that the Islamic Republic, in its attack, fired 20 ballistic missiles, of which 18 were intercepted and two missiles also landed in an open, unpopulated area.
