Ali Pishavzadeh, one of those detained in the protests of Dey 1404 in Rasht, was sentenced to death by Ahmad Davish-Gftar, in a session that lasted only about five minutes. Ahmad Davish-Gftar is a judge at the Revolutionary Court of Rasht who has had a role in issuing harsh verdicts, including death sentences, for political prisoners and protesters in Gilan province.
