Alireza Solaymi, a member of the presidium of the parliament, told ISNA: «We should not be wasteful in using the Strait of Hormuz; using the Strait of Hormuz has delicate aspects, and we must make proper use of it.»

He continued: «Hormuz is a blessing that God has placed at our disposal. By what America did in its own way, the path was opened for us, and we must use this God-given favor properly.»

Solaymi added: «Today, and under current conditions, the value of the Strait of Hormuz for us is greater than that of a nuclear bomb, because we can use it to resolve many issues and respond in kind. We can address the issue of sanctions and reparations by using this strait.»
