Associated Press reports that Arab oil tankers secretly pass through the Strait of Hormuz, and that this is done with the involvement of U.S. forces.
According to this report, oil companies from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates have rented tankers that turn off their transmitters to conceal their location and transport oil from the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz toward the Gulf of Oman.
