In a statement, Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the Islamic Republic’s “aggressive” attack on a ship belonging to ADNOCK, which is affiliated with the United Arab Emirates, as it was passing through the Strait of Hormuz, and called on the UN Security Council to carry out its responsibilities for deterrent actions aimed at ensuring security and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and preventing “piracy at sea.”

The Bahrain Foreign Ministry also emphasized that “the security of the United Arab Emirates is part of Bahrain’s security.”
