Based on videos published on social media, on Friday, the sixth of Shahrivar, a group of families of political prisoners executed in the 60s visited Khavaran to commemorate their dear loved ones, but once again were faced with closed doors.
Khavaran cemetery, in the south-east of Tehran, contains the bodies of thousands of political and ideological prisoners executed in the summer of 1367, who were secretly buried in mass graves without names or identities.
