🔻The woman who had been detained in China for publishing gay stories writes that before she recounts parts of the day of her detention, she was told: “They warned me not to talk about it.”
She writes that she will never forget the day of her detention—one, according to her, in which she was transferred into a police vehicle in front of others, forced to get naked for an examination in front of strangers, and while she was trembling with fear, to sit on a seat to have her photo taken for the arrest.
The account “Pingping An’an Yongfu” is one of at least eight accounts that, in recent months on Weibo, China’s social platform, have reported their detention for publishing homosexual erotic stories.
As these writers’ accounts of their experiences are published, dozens of lawyers have also announced that they are ready to provide free legal services to them.
