🔺Bloomberg: Covert oil transfer from Hormuz at maximum capacity
▪ Middle East oil producers continue at full intensity the transfer of large volumes of crude oil from the Persian Gulf, which helps curb prices and reduce concerns about an energy-driven surge in inflation.
▪ Bloomberg, citing people familiar with these shipments, reported that the trade in covert oil transfer from the Strait of Hormuz and then loading it onto other tankers in the Sea of Oman is underway at maximum capacity, and even despite recent attacks on vessels, this process is being carried out at maximum capacity.
▪ Based on EU satellite data, about 150 tankers—from mega tankers to cargo bulk carriers—are operating in waters outside the Strait of Hormuz and along the coasts of Oman. This figure was about 40 vessels in Dey.
