🔻 Crew of Panama-flagged tanker targeted in the Strait of Hormuz have been evacuated

The Oman Maritime Security Center said that the tanker “Al Gaya,” flying the Panama flag, after a fire in the engine room following an attack, is being towed to one of Oman’s ports.

The center said the tanker, at the time of the attack, was about 103 nautical miles northeast of the island of “Musandam” in northern Oman.

A vessel of the Omani navy evacuated 23 crew members from the ship.

According to this report, two people are missing.
