🔻 The government of Cuba has condemned the Dominican Republic’s decision to expel at least nine Cuban diplomats and says that the move was carried out under pressure from the United States.
The Cuban Foreign Ministry said that there is “absolutely no justification” for the expulsion of diplomats from this country and that the decision has significantly harmed relations between the two Caribbean-region countries.
The Dominican Republic has not provided any reason for these expulsions, but said that the action was taken in accordance with international law.
