Donald Trump has pressured his officials to arrange an in-person meeting between him and Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea, as soon as possible, likely in the fall of this year.

The meeting could be held in November, coinciding with Trump’s possible trip to Asia to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Shenzhen, China.

Trump and Kim last met in 2019.
