Exports of Persian Gulf oil have returned to 15 to 16 million barrels per day—about two-thirds of pre-war levels, according to Goldman Sachs.
Tankers are increasingly being “shut down” and using ship-to-ship transfers to get around disruptions, which has contributed to bringing the price of oil down from more than $120 in April to around $89.
