Germany’s foreign minister, in a phone call with Abbas Araghchi, his counterpart in the Islamic Republic, emphasized unconditional freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
Johann Waidelvoll referred to the call on the social media platform X and wrote: I asked Iran to enter into constructive negotiations with the region’s neighbors and the United States in order to end the clashes.
He emphasized that the Strait of Hormuz must be opened without any conditions and that freedom and security of navigation for all must be guaranteed.
