Hamidreza Hajibabaee, deputy speaker of the parliament, told Students News Agency: «We will never reach an understanding with America; America wants Iran not to exist in order to shape the project of a Greater Israel.»

He added: «America must accept that the Islamic Republic is a superpower, and we should not allow America to use a ceasefire to regroup and prepare for the next attack.»

This member of parliament further said: «Some officials want to repeat this path even if they test America a hundred times and America violates its commitments every time; while this approach is not in our favor.»

Hajibabaee added: «We all are opposed to war, but when we say that we must deal with America, it means that we should remove the shadow of war from over the country.»
