Hosein Simaei Sarruf, Minister of Science, said: "During a crisis, people become more united and overlook some shortcomings, but after the crisis has passed, demands and expectations increase, and if these demands are not met appropriately, it may create the conditions for disagreement and dissatisfaction."

He added: "To increase the resilience of society, we need social capital, and development and general welfare are one of its important components."

Simaei Sarruf also said that we should not underestimate ourselves. At one time, it was thought that the gap between us and powers such as the United States was so great that it was not possible to stand up, but in the field we showed that such an assumption is not correct."
