Hosseyn Mohabi, the spokesman of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in reaction to Trump’s remarks about the United States’ connection through back channels with senior IRGC officials regarding war-related matters, told Tasnim: “There is no dialogue underway between IRGC officials and Americans, and Trump’s this lie is nothing more than fantasies he has been afflicted with due to his delusions and nightmares caused by defeat and helplessness in the war.”

Mohabi said: “Trump is trying, through these remarks, to temporarily control the price of oil and energy in the world; but he has only one real way forward, which is to accept defeat and carry out the conditions set by the Islamic Republic. Therefore, the sooner and faster Americans accept their failure and make decisions based on it, the more they will save their country from greater and more extensive losses.”
