Ibrahim Rezaei, a member of the National Security Commission of the Islamic Republic Parliament, in response to the joint defense agreement between Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, said that the accord “will not bring security on paper,” and wrote to Saudi Arabia: “Correct your policies so it won’t be necessary to beg others for security.”
