Informed sources told Iran International that Ministry of Intelligence officers on Sunday, September 29, carried out a coordinated operation and searched the homes of Mina, Mahshid, Parham, and Pejman Zaareh, as well as his wife, Nazanin Nikoosar resht, in Shiraz, confiscating their personal belongings, electronic equipment, and documents.

According to sources, the officers called members of Pejman Zaareh’s family “unclean” on the grounds that they are Bahai, and a female officer forced Nikoosar resht to change her clothes in her presence. The officers also confiscated documents related to Zaareh’s complaints about being beaten and the conduct of the interrogators, and by referring to his legal follow-ups, said: “The letters you wrote send their greetings.”

During these raids, several mobile phones and laptops, books and images related to the Bahai faith, passports, identification documents, gold, and some dollars were confiscated. Sources said the search warrants lacked any address.

In the end, Nazanin Nikoosar resht, Mina, Mahshid, Mahbubeh, and Parham Zaareh were summoned to appear on the first day of Mehr at the Ministry of Intelligence detention center known as “Plak 100.”
