The insults by Mohammad-Baqer Kharazi, the secretary-general of what is called “Hezbollah Iran,” toward Masoud Pezeshkian, president of the Islamic Republic, made the divisions within the Iranian regime clearer. At the same time, Pezeshkian, in practice, by repeating the figure of “3,000 deaths” in the Dey protests, asked the Iranian people not to believe independent statistics from human rights groups and other governments.
