IRNA, the state news agency, reported that in the early hours of Sunday, September 1, the Iranshahr “Iran-kola” soft drink factory was burned in a fire incident.

According to the report, although no precise information about the extent of financial damage has yet been released, initial statements from local sources about how the fire started have pointed the finger of accusation toward “the possibility of sabotage.”

At the same time, Hav-osh reported that at around 4 a.m. on Sunday, at least 12 masked armed individuals entered this soft drink factory in Iranshahr’s industrial estate and, after tying up two guards, set parts of the factory on fire.

According to this report, the storage of materials and bottling equipment, including parts of the bottling section, was among the targets of the attack.

The outlet added that the identity, motive, and possible affiliation of the attackers have not yet been clarified, and no group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
