🔻 Iranian media have reported that the Minister of Sport and Youth has asked the General Staff of the Armed Forces to exempt electronic football champions from conscription for the Asian Games in Nagoya. Electronic football is currently not included in the list of sports covered by the regulations for the “Champion Soldier” conscription scheme.

🔹 Iran’s electronic football team, on the fourth day of the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games, defeated Malaysia with the lineup of Hassan Pajani and Abolfazl Aghayi-Nasab and won the gold medal in the competition. This was the third gold medal for Iran’s contingent at the Nagoya Asian Games.
