Iranian media reported that, under Article Six, the draft “countering infiltration by intelligence services and foreign governments or institutions,” any interview or any form of contact with “hostile media, including American or Israeli media or media funded by the United States or Israel” is prohibited and will result in a conviction of six months to two years in prison.

Under the same article of the bill, if employees of government bodies conduct interviews with these media outlets, in addition to the above penalty, they will be sentenced to dismissal from government services for a period of two to five years.
