Iranian state TV and radio has released a video which, according to this outlet, shows an unmanned American submersible.

According to this report, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy “seized” the submersible near the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz. State media identified the submersible as a “Dayo-LD” type built by Anduril.

On the other side, an American official said a military submersible of the United States had experienced a technical malfunction in the Middle East more than a day earlier.

He added that the submersible was an older model and did not carry classified sonar or radar equipment.
