🔺 Iraq’s Prime Minister Orders Investigation into Drone Attacks on Iraqi Kurdistan Region

◾ Iraq’s prime minister ordered a comprehensive investigation into the source of the drone attacks on the office of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, and the residence of the head of the security apparatus of this region.

◾ Ali Al-Zaydi’s media office, in a statement, said that during a telephone conversation with Barzani, he condemned the attacks on the Kurdistan Region and stated that any assault on the security of this region is an assault on the national security of Iraq.

◾ The Iraqi prime minister emphasized that his country will legally pursue those responsible for these drone attacks.

◾ The statement said: «The government will not fall short in protecting the security and sovereignty of Iraq, and the competent institutions will carry out investigations into the dimensions and details of these attacks.»
