ISNA reports images of oil pollution on the shores of Qeshm and Hengam islands.
According to this report, about 32,000 square meters of these beaches have been contaminated with oil materials, and cleanup operations have been carried out in parts of the area.
This comes as the Islamic Republic has repeatedly targeted oil tankers and commercial ships in the waters of the region.
At the same time, Reuters has reported that oil pollution caused by a leak from an oil tanker has reached about 12 kilometers from the shores near “Ras Madrakah” in Oman; the island of Masirah has not been affected by this pollution so far.
