The Israeli army said the country’s air force targeted a member of Islamic Jihad in the Khan Younis area and a Hamas member in the Nuseirat area in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, 25 Mordad.

The Israeli army said the two were involved in planning and carrying out attacks against Israel and were targeted to “remove the threat.”

According to the statement, the Israeli army used precision munitions and aerial surveillance before the strikes to reduce harm to civilians. The Israeli army added that Southern Command forces are deployed in accordance with existing understandings in the area and operations against what it called an “immediate threat” will continue.
