🔺Jerusalem Post: Israel provides intelligence assistance to Saudi Arabia against the Houthis

▪ The Jerusalem Post reported that Israel and Saudi Arabia, with mediation by the U.S. Central Command, held talks aimed at providing intelligence assistance to Riyadh in order to defend against Houthi forces.

▪ The Houthis have intensified their attacks on Saudi Arabia over the past week, including a drone attack on oil pipeline lines and pumping facilities that led to the shutdown of part of the main pipeline’s operations.

▪ According to the Jerusalem Post, the Houthis also carried out an attack against Saudi civilians inside a mosque and nearby buildings near the Yemen–Saudi border.

▪ At the same time, after seizing several strategic islands in the Red Sea, the Houthis banned the passage of Saudi vessels through the Bab al-Mandab.
