🔶 Kuwait and Qatar strongly condemned Iran’s latest attacks on Kuwait
Following Iran’s latest attacks on Kuwait, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, strongly condemned these attacks and called them “heinous and repeated acts of aggression by Iran” against Kuwait.
In a statement on Thursday, 12 Shahrivar, the Islamic Republic’s Armed Forces announced an attack on U.S. bases in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait with missiles and kamikaze drones. These attacks were carried out in response to the U.S. attacks the previous day on positions in Iran.
The statement said that the Armed Forces attacked “satellite communications systems, equipment depots, and hangars of fighter aircraft” of the U.S. Army at the Ahmad Al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait with missiles and drones and hit them.
On Thursday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, described the attacks as a violation of this country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity as well as a violation of international law.
Kuwait also warned that it reserves its right to defend its sovereignty and security.
