Life expectancy in Iran has reached 80 years
Alireza Raeisi, the deputy minister of health, says that life expectancy in Iran has reached 80 years.
This means that Iranians' life expectancy has experienced a 25-year jump in less than half a century, reaching 80 years.
According to the deputy minister of health, Iranians' life expectancy in 1979—the year the Islamic Revolution took place—was 55 years.
