Majidreza Heriri, head of the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce, has called for an end to the U.S. maritime blockade “by any means possible,” even by resorting to force and starting another war.

He has warned that transferring imported goods overland from China could impose about an additional $18 billion in costs on Iran’s economy each year.
