Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, wrote on X on Sunday, the first of Shahrivar, saying that Tehran would consider any country’s participation in or support for the “economic war by the United States against the Iranian people” as an act of war.

The secretary of the Supreme National Security Council wrote: “If the economic war continues, not even a drop of oil will be exported; neither through the Strait of Hormuz nor from any point in the Persian Gulf.”
