Mona Barzoui, whose name has remained in the collective memory of Iranians as a poet of protest songs in recent years, a woman whose brilliant collaboration with “Mehdi Yarrahi” helped produce and prepare several protest anthems for the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, wrote a song dedicated to remembering those killed in the 1404 protests. She shared part of it on her Twitter account and wrote: “Tell the world about him, about her, who had a story She was a celebration of life... a cypress that stood tall Now social media users, by reposting this song, are honoring the victims of the protests of Dey.”
