Nima Akbarkhani, a military affairs expert at IRIB, in response to the accusation of the Islamic Republic violating the agreement with the United States, said that attacks on ships were carried out using anti-ship cruise missiles, and that such weapons are in the possession of the IRGC Navy and the army.

He added that these forces take instructions for targeting and timing of the attack from the Khatam al-Anbia headquarters, and said: “It’s obvious; they hit it.”

Earlier, Yashar Soltani, an Iranian journalist, said in a video interview that, according to him, some people disrupted this process with missile attacks on ships at a time when, as he said, an agreement had been established for the free sale of Iran’s oil.

Soltani said these attacks were carried out when the president was in Iraq, the head of the parliament was in Mashhad, and the body of Ali Khamenei was in the air.
