Oman’s foreign minister, Badr Al-Busaidi:

I hope that we will announce soon a temporary crossing for the Strait of Hormuz and operational arrangements to restore safe navigation.

The management of the future of the Strait and a permanent solution will be pursued within the specified timeframe, in accordance with Article 5 of the Islamabad memorandum of understanding.

Negotiations with regional partners in support of peace and cooperation, stability and freedom of navigation will be carried out.
