OPEC’s latest report shows that while oil production in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq has surged over the past month, Iran’s oil production has experienced only minimal growth.

Total daily oil production of the three aforementioned Arab countries increased by 1 million 640 thousand barrels over the past month compared to June, while Iran’s oil production grew by only 26 thousand barrels.

Iran produced 2 million 478 thousand barrels of oil per day last month, which is 785 thousand barrels less than the average daily oil production in Iran in 2025.

OPEC says that, in total, the organization’s members produced 23.6 million barrels of oil per day in July, which is only 4 million barrels less than last year. The United Arab Emirates, which left OPEC in May, also produced nearly 3.8 million barrels of oil per day in July, which is even 620 thousand barrels more than last year.
