🔻Opening the First Police High School in Iran

Iran has opened its first police boarding school in Tehran. According to officials, the school combines standard secondary-school education with specialized training, physical fitness, artificial intelligence, and training with firearms.

According to IRNA, the program, which is for boys, is designed to identify talented students at an early stage and create a pathway for training specialized human resources and future police commanders.

Based on reports, the plan reflects a broader emphasis on rebuilding Iran’s security structure after losses during the war period.

The high school is named after Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the former head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Mr. Bagheri was killed along with his wife and daughter on Khordad 23, 1404, during an Israeli attack on Iran, after three missiles struck his personal home.

Iranian officials have described the creation of a police high school as part of a long-term plan to build a “police of the future,” with the aim of training professional police and cultivating future cadres, including specialized personnel and future commanders. The plan is set to be expanded to other provinces as well.

This is Iran’s first smart police boarding high school, and it was inaugurated on Saturday with the presence of Masoud Pezeshkian, the president.
