👈 Pakistan asked the United States for a loan

Pakistan has officially requested foreign exchange stabilization facilities worth $10 billion from the U.S. Treasury Department, which is considered the largest request in the history of this country.

The request comes after Pakistan’s role in mediating the dispute between the United States and Iran, which has strengthened relations with the Trump administration.

Pakistan currently has about $12.3 billion in short-term bilateral debt, which requires continuous repayment to Saudi Arabia, China, and Kuwait.
