Qasem Rayanbakhsh, a member of parliament from Qom, said in a speech in this city: “Today the people’s presence in the streets is a sign of revenge; we have shown the world that we work to carry out the orders of the Guardian of God. The banner of revenge is raised, and no one can stop the people’s demands for revenge.”

Rayanbakhsh added: “Some believe that if we want to make progress, we must give up maximal Islam; while some have held responsibility in the country with this same view, but the martyred Imam believed that we should keep our distance from liberalism.”
