Qatar’s foreign ministry called the targeting of Mecca with a drone by the Houthis “an act of aggression and disgraceful,” describing it as “a very dangerous crossing of all religious, ethical and human red lines.”
Qatar’s foreign ministry also said the action is “an open provocation of the feelings of more than one billion Muslims around the world.”
The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council also condemned the sending of a drone by the Houthis toward Mecca, calling it “a terrorist and treacherous act.”
