Recent satellite images show that a covert operation is underway to dredge and excavate in order to create a new shipping channel through the Omani section of the Strait of Hormuz.
The width of the channel is about 1,600 feet and its natural depth is close to 93 feet, requiring limited dredging for large oil tankers to pass.
The Americans claim that ships transiting through this channel will remain out of Iran’s sight due to the Musandam Peninsula and the curvature of the earth!
