Saeed Abbas Araghchi, on Tuesday, 27 Mordad, referring to the negotiations between Iran and the United States, said that the talks began after the other side’s request for negotiations and lasted for about three months.
Araghchi added that at the end of these negotiations, a 14-point understanding was signed between the two sides, and claimed that some foreign officials had told him that «out of the 14 points, 13 were in Iran’s favor and only one was in the other side’s favor.»
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic also said that the understanding was violated less than two weeks after it was signed.
Araghchi, by accusing Israel of opposing this process, said: «The biggest obstacle to implementing this understanding was Israel. This regime made every effort to prevent such an understanding from being formed, to have it fail, and not to be implemented, and it is still continuing these efforts.»
