🔻Serious concern expressed by Democratic representatives about living conditions aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln

🔻Democratic Party representatives in the United States have expressed serious concern about the living conditions of sailors on an aircraft carrier of this country.

The mission of these individuals on this carrier, which is operating in Middle East waters, has been extended. These representatives said that reports about a shortage of food, an inefficient plumbing system, and other issues aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln are in no way acceptable.

The Democratic representatives also highlighted the excessive fatigue of the sailors and their work weariness, and that some of these sailors, out of sheer desperation, have tried to jump off the ship.

But Pete Hegseth, the U.S. secretary of defense, said that accounts about the condition of the USS Abraham Lincoln are “completely distorted.”

In response to concerns about the prolonged deployment of the aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln,” Pete Hegseth said that the U.S. military can continue the blockade of Iran’s ports for as long as necessary.

Mr. Hegseth’s remarks coincided with reports saying that the United States intends to replace the aircraft carrier “Abraham Lincoln” with the carrier “George Washington.”

The aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln has been at sea since last November—about 10 months ago, or more than 250 days.
