Gazal Ranjkesh, from among those injured in the “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests, who lost one of her eyes during the crackdown on the 2021 (1401) protests and is now living with a prosthesis, has reported on a request from a 16-year-old girl. The girl also lost her eye during the protests in Dey (December-January) and is now using a prosthesis.
The request from this teenager was to learn eye makeup with a prosthesis. Now, with the publication of a video, Gazal Ranjkesh shares her experience with women who, during the protests—especially the Dey protests—lost their eyes.
A personal experience has now turned into an education for women whose suppression has changed part of their faces and their lives.
