Starlink satellites are not just for internet. By examining the movement of about 1,200 satellites, researchers at Kyoto University have been able to study changes in the density of Earth’s atmosphere at an altitude of about 480 kilometers. This method could, in the future, help improve understanding of the atmosphere and enable more accurate predictions of satellite movement.
