Tasnim, affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported that Ibn al-Reza, head of the Ministry of Defence of the Islamic Republic, claimed that the armed forces in the recent war have obtained “abundant intelligence and technological findings” from the enemy and become familiar with its operational methods.
Without providing any evidence or verifiable details, he also claimed that the Islamic Republic has inflicted “effective blows” on the enemy at a lower cost.
Ibn al-Reza said that war experience has led to a reassessment of the system’s military priorities, and that the Islamic Republic is preparing itself for “the threats of the next 50 years.”
